As an athlete, author, entrepreneur, philanthropist, wife and mother, Kristi Yamaguchi knows about juggling the many demands of daily life, and she designed Tsu.ya with those challenges in mind.
The active wear clothing line mixes fun and functionality with style, ease and confidence. It consists of outerwear, tops, bottoms and dresses - all designed to go from home to gym to market and everywhere in between, seamlessly and comfortably.
Jennifer Cruz, the Celebrity Moms Examiner, recently had a chance to talk with Kristi Yamaguchi about Tsu.ya and the inspiration behind it. She explains that it was two fold – staying active while still looking and feeling good. She states that it was designed as a bridge between comfortable active wear and fashion, so that active women can feel a little more dressed up than just wearing sweats.
“Women these days are wearing a lot of different hats and they’re trying to stay active but they want to be comfortable, run their errands, go to the grocery store, meet friends for coffee, but still look good.”
Referring to both the clothing line itself and being an entrepreneur, she says, “It’s fun.” And, of course, her heart shines through, showing that it’s not just about the clothing line itself or having a successful business, it’s about, “Having a great product that also supports the work we do for Always Dream.”
Tsu.ya can be found online, on Facebook and Twitter.
