The trailer shows off Kristen Stewart's acting chops, showing some very intense and emotional scenes with her co-star, Peyman Moaadi. The prisoner expresses that he does not want to give in to the wishes of his captures because he doesn’t think his imprisonment is fair.

I never agreed to follow your rules — if I follow your rules, it means I am agreeing that you have the right to give me rules, but you don't," Moaadi’s character says in the trailer.

Additionally, it gives glimpses into what could be a major rift between Stewart’s character and her superior officer, played by Lane Garrison. Stewart’s role is portrayed is being conflicted between what the military told her, and what her real experiences are teaching her about the prison and the people locked up there.

It's not as black and white as they said it was gonna be," Kristen says in the film.

At the Sundance Film Festival, Kristen Stewart told MTV that she was at first concerned that she could not do the role justice.

I was so nervous when I first started working and preparing because I didn’t think that people would believe me or think that I looked tough in a uniform,” she said, “that I could do that job, that I could wrangle detainees that are massive and scary,” she said.

In the recent issue of Elle, the “Twilight” actress confessed as to why she will never smile for the untold number of paparazzi that talk and take her picture in Los Angeles. She stated she would never, for any circumstances, smile for the “paps”, but if she did, she most likely would be called a hypocrite, going back on her values.

Now I feel like if I smiled for a paparazzi photo—not that I ever would—that’s exactly what people would be desecrating me for. They’d be like, “Now you’re going to give it up, now you’re a sellout.” like, okay. What do you want? What would you like?” Stewart said.

According to IMBD, Kristen Stewart is currently filming “Equals”, with Guy Pearce. The story is a science fiction tale about two people who fall in love in a world where there is no emotions.

Kristen Stewart can be seen in “Camp X-Ray” in theaters October 17.
