Kristen Stewart reveals she has no regrets about Rupert Sanders affair

Kristen Stewart has an interesting and somewhat defensive attitude about the mistakes she’s made in life, including her Rupert Sanders affair. Even though the affair broke up Rupert’s marriage, sullied Kristen’s reputation, eroded her fan base and threatened her career, Kristen is not kicking herself. According to Feb. 11 news reports from Entertainmentwise, the Los Angeles Times and Digital Spy, Kristen reveals in a recent Marie Claire interview that she has no regrets.

Standing by Her Mistakes

Kristen’s widely publicized affair with Snow White director Rupert Sanders will always be a topic of interest. By now Kristen Stewart has probably resigned herself to the fact that it will be mentioned, alluded to, or tiptoed around in nearly every interview she does. It’s the ever-present “elephant in the room.”

Though she doesn’t ‘refer directly to the affair, Kristen is well aware that many Twilight fans judged her harshly for cheating with Rupert while she was in a long-term relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

When Kristen’s interviewer attempts to draw her out about this life-changing episode in her life, she gets defensive, and this is what she has to say:

“I stand by every mistake I’ve ever made, so judge away.”

From her cavalier comment, it’s clear that Kristen has no regrets about the affair that eventually led to the end of her relationship with Rob,. She remains unapologetic, unremorseful, and is not at all tortured by her past. See Latest News: Kristen Stewart Not Sorry She Cheated on Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart’s Attitude about Mistakes Remains Unchanged

Kristen’s current feelings about making mistakes are consistent with comments that she’s made on that topic in past interviews.

In an interview with Telva magazine about a year and a half ago, Kristen admitted that she has no fears and no regrets:

Of course I make mistakes. . . I’m not hard on myself.
I’m impulsive when I have to make decisions. I’m not afraid to make mistakes.

In another interview, Kristen had this to say:

If you're an honest person you'll make mistakes, but it'll be OK.
The most interesting things happen after making mistakes.

Rupert Sanders is probably pleased to know that Kristen doesn’t regret their brief, but widely publicized fling. But it would be interesting to find out what Robert Pattinson has to say.
