Kristen Stewart is a real trouper. After being injured somehow before Oscars 2013 weekend, the hard-working actress showed up for the 85th annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24 while wearing a beautiful Reem Acra gown and while intermittently leaning on a pair of standard crutches, according to Getty Images.
Then, when KStew headed for the podium to present one of the iconic golden awards, this entertainer was definitely not walking well. This was evident as she approached the microphone.
And no wonder. She had hurt her foot at some point before practicing at Hollywood's Dolby Theater, venue for Sunday's telecast.
The Associated Press via Yahoo! and Us magazine said that Kristen's injury was "unexplained." Nevertheless, this big screen celebrity carried on while carrying the train of her fancy dress despite her faltering physical condition. She then handed over the best production design award along with Daniel Radcliffe, and, when she did, her crutches were nowhere in sight.
And so, as Kristen Stewart hobbled across the Oscars 2013 podium on the same stage where she showed up during rehearsals limping from a hurt foot, this actress turned out to be quite the Hollywood trouper for taking her duties so seriously even though she was probably very much in pain. Kudos to this tireless thespian who will apparently do quite a bit for her craft.
