Kristen Stewart apologizes for 'making everyone so angry' but doesn't mind hate (Video)

Just as the dust had begun to settle over the excessive publicity surrounding her cheating scandal -- and subsequent apology -- with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, the normally reclusive Kristen Stewart addressed the indiscretion once more in a Dec. 17 article for Newsweek.

Stewart received a vilifying firestorm from avid fans of the "Twilight" franchise following news of the scandal being that the actress was in a long-term relationship with her much-beloved costar, Robert Pattinson, at the time of the affair.

"I apologize to everyone for making them so angry," Stewart told Newsweek. "It was not my intention."

Despite the contrition, the "On the Road" actress added that the backlash has no bearing on her choices.

"It's not a terrible thing if you're either loved or hated," she said. "But honestly, I don't care 'cause it doesn't keep me from doing my sh**."

That was honest.

On how she feels about the possibility of being eternally known by fans as Bella Swan, Stewart replied, "As long as people's perspective of me doesn't keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn't matter."

"On the Road" hits theaters Dec. 21.
