MTV reality star Kristen Cavallari and NFL star Jay Cutler are engaged, it was confirmed today (Tuesday). Cutler surprised his girlfriend of less than a year with a trip to Cabo San Lucas over Easter weekend so he could propose, People reports.
Cavallari found sudden fame in 2006 when she was cast on MTV's hit show Laguna Beach. She also appeared in the show's spinoff, The Hills and was reportedly asked to join (but obviously declined) MTV's biggest hit yet - Jersey Shore.
Cavallari and Cutler, the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, have been dating since the Fall of 2010.
No word on when Kristen Cavallari and Jay Cutler plan to marry.
