The Disney animated feature film "Frozen" broke box office records when it was released last year, and now it looks like the characters will be heading to television. On April 17 Wetpaint Entertainment posted spoilers for the fantasy drama "Once Upon a Time," which could possibly include characters from the animated adventure. Actress Kristen Bell, who voices the character Anna, revealed whether or not she would want her character on the series.
Series co-creator Eddy Kitsis already mentioned his desire to bring the characters to the show, which is already planning to have villain Cruella de Vil in an upcoming episode. The series has incorporated characters like Rapunzel, Ariel, and Ursula into the third season and includes a bunch of fairytale characters from different stories as main cast members.
Bell revealed that she "loves the character of Anna" and it was a character she would have loved as a child. Getting to play a live action version would be a big thrill just like the possibility of voicing the character for a second film. The series could plan a winter or Christmas themed episode and have both Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) show up in Storybrooke.
The series has no problem finding a place for princesses in the story which was ventured from the Enchanted Forest to Neverland to Oz. The fairytale character world is constantly expanding and the characters from "Frozen" could add new drama to the series as it prepares for its fourth season. Both Bell and the producers are keen to make this happen, so chances are the characters will be making it to the show.
The series airs on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. on ABC and is about to wrap up its third season. A fourth season has yet to be announced. The Oscar winning film "Frozen" has become one of the most successful animated features every released by Disney.
