Kim Kardasian and Kanye West want to be married when their baby is born, but Kim is still married to Kris Humphries. Now, Radar Online reports on Jan. 17 that Kim would agree to the annulment but Kris Jenner won't allow it.
Kris has run the Kardashian empire from the ground up and has a strong hold on the reputation and bankability of the family. However, the reason that Kris Humphries wants an annulment is to prove that their marriage was a publicity stunt and not out of true love on Kim's part. If Kim agrees to that annulment, Kris is afraid it will hurt the Kardashian brand.
Kris is also afraid of how E! will react if this happens, because they are the network that aired the Kim Kardashian-Kris Humphries wedding. Kim still denies fraud and said she loved Kris Humphries but realized he was not the right man for her.
However, this might be causing a strain on Kim and Kanye, because Kanye just wants her marriage to end. He can't figure out why she won't annul the marriage and he wants them to be legally committed when the baby arrives. Kanye is already tired of the mess and has made it clear that it is time for Kim Kardashian to leave reality television and put that life behind her.
