Kris Jenner was out and about earlier this week, just days after Khloe Kardashian's divorce filing, and while on the town, the Kardashian matriarch and Keeping Up With The Kardashians star weighed in on how her daughter has been handling the split.
"Khloé really is so great. She's strong and…the good news is that she's busy and you know, keeps her real busy. But she's good," Kris told E! News, according to a December 18 report. "She's got such a big heart but she also is very sensitive. She's got that tougher exterior and sensitive inside, but she's good. She's got all of us all around her and I'll see her later, and yeah, she's good. I was with her yesterday and she's a gift. She's one of my biggest blessings."
Khloe has always been a funny and loving girl, and it's good hear that her attitude hasn't changed, despite her heartbreaking circumstances. For months, even after finding out about Lamar Odom's affairs and drug use, Khloe remained dedicated to her marriage.
It wasn't until Lamar released a rap about how he would be with other women when she was away that Khloe finally removed her ring and filed for divorce. And at that point, who wouldn't?
"I think that when you have a tough decision to make and you finally make it, it's always a relief to come through that process, but it is a process," Kris explained.
Divorce is certainly a process, and sometimes a messy one, but hopefully, with Khloe and Lamar's prenup, she will be able to make a clean break.
Although Khloe is eligible to receive spousal support from Lamar for 50% of the length of their marriage, which would be just over two years, she has declined to request it which seems to hint that she is attempting to make this as civil as possible.
