Kris Jenner’s talk show canceled: Fox ends ‘Kris’

Kris Jenner’s talk show has been canceled, and Fox has decided it will not be renewing “Kris” for another season. Radar Online reports on Jan. 17 that the network has issued a polite statement with the possibility of Jenner returning in another format. However, she will not be seen on Fox in 2014, and the chances of her developing another show for 2015 may not be high.

The Kardashian clan matriarch has been allegedly told that viewers do not want her on daytime television. However, Fox’s announcement about canceling her show in 2014 makes it sound as if Jenner could get another show in 2015. Nevertheless, sources claim that the network is not likely to accept another talk show resembling “Kris.”

Although Fox issued the announcement on Jan. 17, rumors about the end of “Kris” have been circulating online for months. Ricki Lake mentioned the cancelation in August while Jenner vehemently denied that the network was ending it. She has not issued an apology to Lake who accurately predicted the demise months before it occurred.

Despite Jenner’s attempts to boost the show’s ratings by inviting Kanye West and revealing the first photo of North West, “Kris” struggled to attract viewers. Jenner also used her daughters as frequent guests and created questions about the talk show’s ability to attract other celebrities.
