Kris Jenner: Kanye assault caused by 'hateful person'

See also

Kris Jenner commented on the Kanye assault case that has taken over the Kardashian world as we know it. On Jan. 15, Us Weekly reported that Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner sort of defended her son-in-law to-be when it comes to reports that he beat someone up.

"I got wind of this last night because I had been out of town. And I've literally been doing some press all day today and have not been home. So I haven't talked to anybody to give you a better update. But I think that what happened was that somebody got really out of line. Very hateful person," Kris said.

Kris Jenner said the Kanye assault was started by the other person -- at least, that's what she has gathered so far. She was very careful about defending Kanye and she made sure that she mentioned that she didn't know the whole story -- but it sounds like she's supporting her daughter's beau. Of course she's sort of a pro when it comes to calming the masses and speaking out on crazy rumors...

"I do know that how it started was that this person got really...a lot of racial, hateful, horrible things that he was saying. And I think that's where it started. I'm not quite sure how it ended, to be honest with you," Kris also said.

Kris Jenner didn't say much about the Kanye assault -- and that's probably smart. While this all might turn out to be bad for Kanye, chances are it will just be nothing thanks to his celebrity... so really, it's a waste to even talk about it.
