Most would consider being mentioned by a president of the United States to be a big deal or an honor. Not so with Kardashian family member, Kris Jenner. It seems that Kris will bluntly bring anyone to task if the person mentions her family in a way that she deems as inappropriate or slanderous. This is exactly what she did to the president of the United States when President Barack Obama mentioned Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in an interview with Amazon's Kindle.
In the interview, President Barack Obama began talking about the American Dream, and how it has changed over the years. He talked how people, years ago, strives to have a good job for security. Back then, people believed that if you worked hard you could get the things you needed. Education was an important part of that picture. He said that kids are exposed to the lifestyles of the rich and famous as they have never been before. Kids see that they have to have a 10,000 square foot house because their favorite celebrities do.
President Barack Obama said, “Kids weren’t monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success.”
This makes sense doesn’t it? Well, to the majority of Americans it does, but to Kris Jenner it was an attack on her family. She took offense at his words and blasted the president over her talk show, Kris. She said, “I find it so odd that he’s picking on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Well, Kanye West, first of all, doesn’t go on vacation. Ever. And Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world. She never sleeps, she never stops, she never slows down and works so hard for what she’s got.” You can listen to her entire rant over the President's remark at Blastdatass.com.
Perhaps Kanye West should go on vacation so he's not beating up camera people any more. And if Kim never sleeps, never stops or slows down, then she should be in the Geniuses Book of World Records. She wouldn't need a nanny for North West either.
