October 31, 2011 - Kris Humphries was unaware that his wife, Kim Kardashian, was planning to file for divorce until she actually did it this morning.
Apparently, Kris was trying hard to save the marriage to Kim and really wanted to work their problems out, reported TMZ. The NBA player was not even aware that Kim was all set to go and file the papers this morning.

Acording to sources, the couple spoke about the possibility of divorcing amidst their marriage problems, but Kris doesn't believe in divorce and wanted to work it out.
A very religious person, Kris doesn't want to get a divorce and he also denies vehemently that he cheated on Kim, as some reports have claimed.

No exact reasons have been cited for the divorce, but recent reports state that Kim is tired of Kris' unemployment and constant partying while she's hard at work on her reality show and her growing empire.
Kim's divorce petition states "irreconcilable differences as the main reason for the split.
