Kris Humphries lawyer, Marshall Waller, quit on him the day before his divorce hearing with Kim Kardashian, ABC News reported on Feb. 15.
According to the report, Waller filed a motion to be relieved at Humphries’ counsel, citing “irremediable breakdown of the attorney-client relationship,” as the reason.
It seems Kris Humphries can’t keep his lawyer, or his wife. Fans are now wondering why the Brooklyn Nets basketball player has lost his lawyer. Could it be that handling a case involving the high profile Kim Kardashian was too much for him?
Marshall Waller’s departure has the ability to delay Humphries and Kardashian’s divorce proceedings even further. Kim filed for divorce on Halloween in 2011, and the couple have yet to call it quits despite the fact that Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West’s baby.
