November 1, 2011 - Kris Humphries' family has spoken out on his son's divorce, saying that Kim Kardashian never gave the marriage a chance.
While Kris' parents admit they knew there was lots of tension in his and Kim's relationship, they never thought it was headed for divorce, TMZ reported. But, they claim that Kim is making a very big "mistake" and she should at least try to make things work before ending things for good.

TMZ also claims that Kris' family thinks that he can still save the new marriage and convince Kim to withdraw the divorce petition.
Earlier reports said that Kris was "devastated" by Kim's divorce filing and he believed in trying to save the relationship at all costs. He also claims that he was completely blindsided by Kim's decision and was not aware she was ready to end things so soon.

Meanwhile, right after she filed the papers, Kim left the country for Australia to promote her clothing line, leaving a sad and distraught Kris behind.
The unemployed NBA player is so upset he actually canceled an appearance at an event at the Chateau Nightclub where he was supposed to host a party on Saturday night.
