Kris Allen of "American Idol" was injured in a car accident and has also announced that is wife is pregnant. She was with him in the car. On Jan. 2, news came out about the car accident. According to TMZ, they were in a head on car crash.
Kris Allen and his wife Katy were in the car, but there dog was in there also. Kris did share on Twitter that his wife was okay saying: "Thank you @Ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family safe ... and the little one we have on the way safe."
A picture of Kris tweeted by his mom shows his injuries. In this picture, he is in a neck brace and also you can tell his arm was injured. She shares that his arm is broken and he might not play guitar for awhile.
Luckily Katy and their dog are both fine. It could have been a lot worse. Kris Allen will live to play again in the future.
