Krim family update: Marina, Kevin and Nessie return to NYC

Update: The Krim family shared huge, exciting news on May 16 that you will not want to miss!

People following the Krim family tragedy have reason to smile a bit for them Friday. While former nanny Yoselyn Ortega faces murder charges for the brutal deaths of Lulu and Leo Krim, the children's parents Kevin and Marina Krim are doing their best to move forward. The family shared the latest news on their Facebook page on Jan. 18, and the Krim family is now back in NYC.

Kevin and Marina Krim, along with their daughter Nessie, spent the past 11 days traveling back to NYC after spending time in California. The Krim family has kept fans updated on their 3,300 mile journey, and they say the journey “forced us to live in the present.” They have done their best to embrace the landscapes along the drive, and they stopped many times in various cities on their journey so they could take in the sights. They note that “most importantly” their travels allowed them to make “new unique family memories with Nessie.”

The family clearly always had Lulu and Leo on their minds as they encountered places that the children would have enjoyed, and they write that they “are thankful that Lulu and Leo gave us the strength and inspiration to take this trip.” This family continues to be supported by not only their close family and friends, but by many people around the world as well. Their Facebook page has kept those following the Krim family journey not only updated on their progress, but the page gives a connection to the Lulu & Leo Fund created to honor the children's memories as well.

Marina, Kevin and Nessie of course will never be able to forget the tragedy brought upon them allegedly at the hands of Yoselyn Ortega. However, it seems the Krim family is doing an admirable job of trying to move forward. Honoring Lulu and Leo as they are warms the hearts of those lending their support. Everybody hopes the transition into living in NYC again goes smoothly for all of the Krims.
