On Sunday, September 11th, 2011, at 2726 Broadway, at 2:00 pm, internationally renowned expert in Krav Maga, Gabi Noah, will be hosting a seminar on third party defense.
What does that mean? Well, as previously noted, Krav Maga deals solely in personal protection. It is not a sport, and even deals with weapons. At other levels, it also teaches practitioners about the protection of others.

This seminar, like all Krav Maga training, teaches hand to hand combat, practicing realistic scenarios under stressful exercises, awareness, preventive behavior and "risk reduction" (basically, how to keep alert, and not get into fights in the first place). In particular, this will deal with knife disarms, as well as multiple attackers with and without weapons.
This seminar is open for anyone who is interested, from age 15 and up. The seminar will be 4 hours long. Admission is $80 in advance, and $100 at the door.
