Kourtney & Kim Take New York season 2 premiered on Sunday, revealing Kris Humphries' true feelings about NYC and the Kardashians. As Kim admits to Glamour magazine she isn't looking for fairytale love after the split, she fell behind pal Justin Bieber on Bing's list of the the most searched for people in 2011.
Kim Kardashian held the top spot on the Bing annual list of the most searched for people of 2010. Now Justin Bieber holds the top spot for 2011 with Kim coming in second. Justin Bieber was the only male on the list, pushing right past his old friend Kim.
The season 2 premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take New York on E! proved Kim had bigger worries than her spot on the search engines. The show actually starts with television reporters talking about the end of the marriage between Kim and Kris, foreshadowing their fate in just 72 days. The problems seemed to escalate when the coupled moved to NYC and started living together for the first time.
While Kim and Kris had a fairytale wedding, reality hit when they moved to NYC. Kim is the tidy type and said, “When I see a messy room, it literally ruins my day.” Kris leaves his clothes on the floor, which clearly stresses Kim. When Scott Disick moves out, Kim tells Kourtney, “I can't live with Kris. He's such a slob.” She asks if Kris can have Scott's room.
Kim has trouble living with Kris but he's no happier sharing space with Kourtney. When Kris finds Naked Yoga happening in the living room, he states he can't live with Kourtney anymore. Later Kourtney apologizes but it doesn't seem to be enough.
Worst of all to New Yorkers, Kris doesn't like NYC. He tells his friend Josh that everything is New York is screwing him up and says, “I don't feel like I'm in my training element.” He decides to leave New York so continue training in Minnesota, which is much further than a separate room. The writing was already on the wall that Kim and Kris would part.
Kim told Glamour magazine about the breakup, “I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.”
Kim, Khloe and Kourney are all smiling on the cover of the upcoming New Year's special edition of Glamour, with a statement, “There's no judgment between sisters.” Despite an online campaign to put a kibosh on the Kardashians, My Fox 9 reports Kourtney & Kim Take New York had record ratings of 3.2 million viewers.
Taking back her own life, Kim Kardashian spent her holiday serving food to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission and making sweet potato soufflé for a family Thanksgiving gathering. Kim told PEOPLE at the LA Mission Thanksgiving dinner, “I think the holidays are just about winding down and spending time with your family. That's what it's going to be about this year for me.”
