Kourtney & Khloe's spinoff show filmed in the Hamptons, already hated by locals

Get ready for a new reality TV series called, “Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons.” It is a spinoff series set to air on the E! channel in the fall of 2014. It seems that the people who live in the Hampton area have taken to Twitter to voice their disapproval over the Kardashians in their part of the world. Many locals threaten to move, others have tweeted “There goes the neighborhood.” While a few said that, it would be worse if it were Kim moving into the neighborhood.

Kourtney and Khloe will open a pop-up Dash clothing store when they temporarily move to Long Island. Nicole Barylski, the Deputy Editor, and Nicole B. Brewer, the Executive Editor & Publisher, are hoping that the two Kardashian sisters do well in the Hamptons. A thriving store is good for the local economy. They said that it isn’t strange to see a member of the Kardashian family in the Hamptons. Film crews are not out of place either because the "Real Housewives" franchise film there.

“The fact that they’re going to put down roots out here is a big deal because it’s going to impact the economy somehow. People will either decide to avoid the Kardashian store completely, which could affect the surrounding stores or on the flip side you could have the place so completely and utterly mobbed that hopefully the businesses around it will benefit from the overflow.”

Filming for the new series is set to run through Labor Day.
