On Sunday night, Jan. 20, E! aired the first episode of the third season of “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami”.
After an enticing trailer hit the net in September, fans had been anticipating the new series to see exactly what was going to be taking place down in South Florida.
In the opening minutes of Sunday’s episode, Kim Kardashian instantly had her failed marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries become the topic of discussion.
Kim was married to Kris on Aug. 20 of 2011 but 72 days later they would separate from one another.
Kim is now dating music mogul Kanye West, with whom she is expecting a child with later this year.
“He is so much better than Humphries,” Kim’s sister Khloe stated when discussing Kanye. “Like, seriously, what a waste of your time.”
“I used to feel like it was a dream,” Khloe added of Kim’s time with Humphries. “I feel like it never even really happened.”
For Kim, forgetting such a trying time in her life isn’t that easy.
“A really expensive dream that won’t leave me alone,” stated the 32-year old reality star.
Elaborating on the strenuous process of separating from Humphries, you can tell that Kim is tired of bringing up the issue.
“I’m obviously still going through a divorce,” she stated. “It’s something that should be over and done with. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy.”
Kim went on to add that she had found a way to maintain her cool amidst the divorce process, yet Khloe seemed baffled as to how her sister was coping with such a dark cloud hovering over her and brought up the situation throughout the episode.
