Kotobukiya reveals Jango Fett statue (Photos)

Star Wars” is one of the most popular film series in history, it has been turned into comics, video games and just about anything else you can think of. Now Kotobukiya USA has today revealed plans to release a new statue in their ARTFX+ series for “Star Wars” fans to drool over, Jango Fett.

For those of you that may not remember, or might be trying not to remember, Jango Fett the bounty hunter was part of the episode 1-3 “Star Wars” series, “Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones” to be specific. He is the father of Boba Fett, one of the most iconic characters in the series, and the genetic blueprint for the clone troopers. Unlike his more rugged looking son, Jango sports a full-length blue bodysuit with polished silver armor complete with pouches, wrist-mounted weapons and a familiar looking helmet.

The pre-painted Jango Fett ARTFX+ snap-fit (assembly required) kit stands over 7 inches tall (1/10th scale) and comes with two interchangeable screen accurate backpacks from his battles on Kamino and Geonosis as well as interchangeable arms to pose Jango in a “draw” stance or aiming his blaster.

“Star Wars” fans can look for the statue from Kotobukiya USA in the third quarter of 2013; it will have an SRP of $54.99. Images can be found in the slideshow up top.
