Michael Kors makes dressing extremely effortless. The designer has a knack for turning glamour into functional ease.
Today, June 24, 2014, Michael Kors has rolled out his Fall 2014 Ad Campaign. Not only is he bringing us a new seasonal wardrobe, but he is also introducing us to a fresh new face that we will most likely be getting to know much better in future seasons, including on the runway. Benjamin Eidem captures our attention as he is featured with Karmen Pedaru, an Estonian model, a beauty with that undeniable natural glow.
The campaign was shot by one of the most prestigious photographers of our time, Mario Testino. Lovely Southern California serves as the backdrop for this unmistakable fashion shoot. “This season, I was influenced by the easy lifestyle of California, and I wanted the images to express my jet set sensibility but with a relaxed attitude,” says Michael Kors. Kors was excited to introduce Eidem as part of the campaign saying, "Benjamin has the rugged elegance that perfectly captures the essence of the Michael Kors man.”
The young and vivacious couple are shot in two different scenes. First, they elegantly steal the scene as they exit romantically from their exclusive jet, hand in hand, both dressed in black. Eidem is wearing a black turtleneck, black full-length coat and black pants. Pedaru is wearing a black knit long-sleeved dress with an entire skirt of fringe, wedges and a classic Kors cross-body bag. The second shoot focuses on the perfect pair traveling on a private plane with friends, Cindy Bruna, Tian Yi, Corey Baptiste and Ian Sharp. They are all dressed fabulously chic in Michael Kors.
The global campaign debuts to the public and all the Kors fans in July. You are sure to see it in almost every publication in their fall issues which includes the international editions of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair. In his notable fashion style, Michael Kors will have multi-page units featured in the September issues of 12 titles all around the world.
Once the campaign comes to a successful close, it will have been seen in over 39 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia. The brand has gone digital as well so you are sure to see the Fall 2014 Campaign in digital outlets, social media platforms and even the more traditional media placement.
The fashion fever will catch on quickly as we are whisked away on a Michael Kors jet set vacation, so pack your bags and get ready to travel beyond the frontiers of fashion.
