The current Kohl’s Cares collection includes the following books and plush:

· Put Me in the Zoo and Zoo character plush

· Go, Dog. Go! and Dog plush

· The Nose Book and Elephant plush

· Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb and Monkey plush

· Big Dog…Little Dog and Fred and Ted plush - ONLINE EXCLUSIVE

Kohl’s is also featuring cookbooks (also $5 each) that are available for adults. These cookbooks will allow busy people to create simple, healthy meals for themselves and their family members. The cookbooks this year are:

· Cook This, Not That! Skinny Comfort Foods

· Delish – Just Four Ingredients Fast!

Each product is quality made and they are available just in time for Valentine’s Day. How perfect is that?

By selling these items, Kohl’s is able to give back to the communities in which they serve. Their approach is all-inclusive in that it not only donates money and resources, but talent and time as well. They do so through their community giving and volunteer program. They also support children’s health and education; always on the lookout to recognize kids that share their time and talent as well!

In addition, Kohl’s also has put into place nationwide environmental initiatives as well as focusing on women’s health in Wisconsin (specifically targeting the fight against breast cancer). This community organization envisions a future of healthy children, where resources are plentiful and where a disease that mainly targets women and devastates their families is eradicated. As they state on their website: Giving Back Also Means Looking Ahead!

Unlike other big public organizations in the market today that join the bandwagon and give to one specific charity, Kohl’s has derived their own and is focused on the four points specified above. They want to stand out in every way and by continuing with their Kohl’s Cares products and approach, they are!

They don’t want to only make the headlines in order to get their products noticed, but to show the local communities that they truly are different and truly do care! By purchasing their inexpensive products, you are also helping to better the community in which you live.

So, the next time that you are shopping your local area Kohl’s store, check out the Kohl’s Cares products and pick one or two up for someone you know and love. You never know who else you will be helping in the process!
