NASCAR Nationwide Series team, Rick Ware Racing, announced recently that driver Blake Koch has joined the organization to drive a No. 41 Rick Ware Racing entry full-time in 2012.
"I am truly blessed to be a part of Rick Ware Racing," Koch said. "I am really looking forward to the upcoming year and ready and excited to be teammates with Timmy Hill."
Hill was the 2011 series Rookie of the Year, driving the No. 15 for RWR. Koch was his closest competitor for that honor last year, with Koch then driving the No. 81 car of MacDonald Motorsports. Hill will again drive the No. 15 car in 2012.
Koch finished one point behind Hill in the 2011 Rookie of the Year battle. Competing in 32 races last season, Koch finished 18th in the overall driver points standings.
"We are extremely excited to have Blake on board," car owner Rick Ware said. "He will be a great addition to the RWR team."
