Kobe Bryant reacts to Serge Ibaka's groin hit on Clippers' Blake Griffin

The Los Angeles Lakers were finally able to get back to .500 with a record of 30-30 after taking down the Atlanta Hawks at the Staples Center on Sunday night. Earlier in the day, the Los Angeles Clippers took on the Oklahoma City Thunder with controversy brewing due to Serge Ibaka's altercation with Blake Griffin. Kobe Bryant responded to Ibaka's questionable move saying the following via LakersNation's Serena Winters as of March 4:

“I probably would have smacked him in the mouth. I would have dealt with the pain afterwards.”

Kobe's response is typical and expected. The five-time NBA champion is no stranger to physical play or altercations with other players and may have reacted by confronting Ibaka.

The Thunder were ultimately able to get the best of the Clippers on Sunday, but it was a close call with Oklahoma City struggling to put away Chris Paul and company late in the game.

The game got progressively physical with the Clippers chipping away at the lead. Griffin and Ibaka were battling it out in the paint throughout the entire game and it hit boiling point with the Thunder forward striking Griffin in the groin.
