Just when you thought that Kobe Bryant would cool off after breaking his finger on his shooting hand against the Minnesota Timberwolves last week, the reigning NBA Finals MVP goes and does it again by hitting yet another amazing game-winning 15-footer in overtime against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Not only did Kobe Bryant come through with second ticking off the clock in overtime, but he also scored the last seven points for the Los Angeles Lakers with one minutes and 18 seconds remaining in overtime.
Broken finger? No problem!
Kobe finished another amazing performance with 39 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one steal. As impressive as those stats are, especially in consecutive nights (42 points against the Chicago Bulls last night), Kobe did have seven turnovers in this game, and if he hadn't turned it on the way he did in the overtime that would have been what dominated the headlines.
Despite the seven turnovers, Kobe Bryant finished off rookie Brandon Jennings and the Milwaukee Bucks will another game-winner that will go down as one of the best of his storied career in the NBA.
As Kobe continues to come through in clutch situations this season, the comparisons to Michael Jordan will start to heat up. After this game-winning turnaround against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kobe looks more like MJ than ever.
