When Kobe Bryant hits the court at the Staples Center, few fans question the power of one the star of the court. Considered a celebrity at every level, it’s rare to think that Kobe Bryant might be nervous about any layup on the court let alone have a fear in real life. Apparently the star does have one think that is on the fear list and it’s rather tiny, flies and buzzes around. Asked about fears after a game on Saturday night, the fans got a rather surprising answer.
"I don't f--- with bees, man. Other than that, I'm not afraid of nothing," said Kobe Bryant during a recent interview with ESPN. Apparently one of the best players in the NBA is quite afraid of the small insect better known as a bee.
Knowing this small detail doubtfully will never have an edge on the Lakers when it comes to the basketball court. Superman had the weakness of Kryptonite, and apparently the ultimate natural weakness of Kobe Bryant is bees. Unless there is a NBA team with a bee mascot in the building, it’s impossible to see how this could even be relevant.
