Kobe Bryant has close to seven thousand unique NBA-licensed trading cards, according to Beckett's massive online database. As the Los Angeles Trading Card Examiner, I feel an obligation to let people know about these cards, whether they collect the Black Mamba or not. - Card features two of the most popular players in the NBA highlighting their very special games against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden within the same week
- On February 2, 2009, Kobe scores an MSG record 61 points, breaking the previous record held by the legendary Knicks star Bernard King
- On Februrary 4, 2009, LeBron James records a phenomenal triple-double of 52 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds
- The beating down Bryant and James laid on the Knicks was so bad, they both received "MVP" chants from the Knicks fans
- Two days later, the NBA would take back James' triple-double due to a stat-keeping error
- Despite the significant difference in age and count in championship rings, the league and the fans have pegged Kobe and LeBron as the major rivalry moving forward
