In December of 2011, Kobe Bryant's wife of 10 years, Vanessa, filed for divorce after saying that finding him cheating again was, "the straw that broke the camel's back"
It was reported that he head cheated many times, that he was ratted out by other Laker's player's wives, and that Vanessa was tired of it and wanted it to end.
It appears now that after 12 years of marriage, they were still in the process of getting divorced, that they have reconciled and the divorce action will be dismissed.
Vanessa posted this on her instagram this week;
“We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled, Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together.”
Kobe also posted this on his Facebook page;
"I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family. When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers! Much luv, Mamba out,"
Thousands of likes and well wishes for the couple were posted immediately.
Kobe and Vanessa have been spending a lot of time together recently, including New Years and want badly for everything to work out for them and their two girls, Natalia, and Gianna.
After Vanessa filed for divorce in 2011, Kobe became depressed and sad and wanted desperately to make things work for the kids sake. He was sad at the thought of them living in two different homes instead of all together.
Kobe also found out how expensive divorce could be. In their divorce settlement, Vanessa was to be awarded $75 million and all three of the couple's mansions.
On Valentines Day of last year the pair were caught kissing and spending time together and appeared to be working on their relationship.
The reason the divorce has not happened yet is because Vanessa kept waiting to file the papers. Now the divorce action will be dismissed and the couple plans to focus on making their relationship work.
