Henry Ford once stated: Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are always right. This is the philosophy behind Chris Duncan's book. It doesn't matter how talented you are, if you don't have the mindset that you were created for greatness and you can do anything, you might as well not have the talent. One of they key principals of the book is self fullfilling prophecy. If you believe you're ugly, stupid, fat, untalented, and a loser; you will remain that way until you change. If you believe you're smart, pretty, talented, and destined to be great, you'll be all those things because you believe it. The second main principle is to have plan, if you don't have a plan, you'll end up resenting your life, in an unfavorable situation, or pass up opportunities to help you move closer to your goal. Too often we look to other people for inspiration or the ability to do things, when everything is within us. We just have to tap into our greatness and move forward with our lives. In addition to being very uplifting and inspiring, Know Thyself also includes exercises to help you change your mindset and acheieve your goals. I suggest everyone pick up Knowthyself. Coming up next week: an interview with Christopher Duncan.
