We all know that all of the attractions at Walt Disney World will close at one point or another for refurbishment. However, there is still nothing more disappointing than arriving at a theme park to find your favorite attraction is closed. So like I always say “Know before you go!”
Here is a list of the current Walt Disney World closures:
- Mad Tea Party will be closed for refurbishment from April 10-May 21, 2013.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Beach Pool will be closed from March 7-8, 2013.
- Disney’s Polynesian Resort Nanea Volcano Pool will be closed from March 4-15, 2013.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Beach Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishment from Feb. 24-March 8, 2013.
- California Grill will be closed starting Feb. 4, 2013 and reopening date has yet to be confirmed but is expected in late August 2013.
- Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed from Feb. 1-7, 2013.
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort Fitness Center will be closed through Feb. 7, 2013.
- Spirit of Aloha at Disney’s Polynesian Resort will be closed through Jan. 31, 2013.
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Feature Pool Slide will be closed through Feb. 1, 2013.
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort Spa will be closed through July 1, 2013 when it will reopen as ‘Senses.’
- Disney Junior - Live on Stage will be closed through Feb. 14, 2013.
- Main Street Bakery will be closed through May 17, 2013.
- Kali River Rapids will be closed through Feb. 15, 2013.
- Blizzard Beach will be closed through March 16, 2013.
- Boardwalk Bakery will be closed through April 26, 2013.
- Splash Mountain will be closed through March 19, 2013.
- Disney‘s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Ivy Trellis Beauty and Barber Shop will be closed through Feb. 28, 2013.
- Disney’s Grand Florida Resort and Spa Courtyard Pool will be closed for refurbishment through March 15, 2013.
