As the weather cannot decide if it is going to stay warm or cold, there is a chance Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon may close due to extremely cold temperatures. Not only will this water park close down for the day, many of the resort’s pools, recreation areas and marinas may also experience full or partial-day closures. Before heading down to the pool, call your resort’s front desk to find out if there are any closures in the pool and recreational areas.

Let’s take a look at this week’s list of closures at the Walt Disney World Park’s and Resorts:
- Mad Tea Party will be closed from April 10-May 31, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s Beach Pool will be closed from March 7-8, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Polynesian Resort’s Nanea Volcano Pool will be closed from March 4-15, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s Beach Pool Slide will be closed from Feb. 24-March 8, 2013 for refurbishment.
- California Grill will be closed for refurbishment starting today. No reopening date has been confirmed at this time, but is expected to be in late August 2013.
- The Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is currently closed for its transformation into ‘Senses.’ No reopening date has been confirmed at this time, but is expected to be in early July 2013.
- Main Street Bakery will be closed through May 17, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed through March 16, 2013 for refurbishment.
- BoardWalk Bakery will be closed through April 26, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Splash Mountain will be closed through March 19, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s Ivy Trellis Beauty and Barber Shop will be closed through Feb. 28, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s Courtyard Pool is currently closed for refurbishment. No reopening date has been confirmed at this time, but is expected to be in mid-March 2013.
