With spring break upon us, families are heading to the Walt Disney World Resorts and Theme Parks for some fun in the sun. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here in Central Florida lately and with the exception of some rain this week, it is going to continue to warm up throughout the area.
Because of the higher amount of crowds, the list of closures is a lot shorter than it has been in past weeks. So, let’s take a look at this weeks Disney closures.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s Beach Pool will be closed from May 30-June 1, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel will be closed from May 28-June 10, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s Beach Pool Slide will be closed from May 27-June 1, 2013 for refurbishment.
- The Carousel of Progress will be closed from May 13-15, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Cinderella’s Royal Table will be closed from May 13-16, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Mad Tea Party will be closed from April 10-May 21, 2013 for refurbishment.
- California Grill is currently closed for refurbishment. Reopening date has yet to be confirmed, but is expected in late August.
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort’s Spa is currently closed for its transformation into ‘Senses.’ Reopening date has yet to be confirmed, but is expected in early July 2013.
- Main Street Bakery will be closed through June 18 for refurbishment.
- BoardWalk Bakery will be closed through April 26, 2013 for refurbishment.
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s Courtyard Pool is currently closed for refurbishment. Reopening date has yet to be confirmed, but is expected in late March 2013.
