Today marks the kick-off for Bourbon Heritage Month. The first ever Knob Creek Webcast is also scheduled for today at 4pm EST. Fred Noe and The Whiskey Professors (David Mays, Bernie Lubbers and Steve Cole) will be on hand to answer questions about the Knob Creek shortage and also questions from bourbon fans as they have been rolling in from the Knob Creek Website since the link went live approximately a week ago. Bourbon fans were asked to write in questions about Knob Creek and bourbon in general and then tune in today for live answers from the Whiskey Professors. Bourbon Heritage Month celebrates bourbon as America’s ‘Native Spirit’. The US Senate declared September 2007, National Bourbon Heritage Month. The bill supports the 1964 Act of Congress declaring bourbon ‘America’s Native Spirit’ which passed due to the legacy of tradition and family heritage the bourbon industry has weaved into American history.
