What? The Knight Arts Challenge Awards for 2013 wants to hear ideas in how to bring Arts to the public.

When? Applications are due by March 4th, 2013.

Where? Roundtable meetings are being held for Q’s & A’s.

Why? The KAC wants to bring Art to the public.

The Knight Foundation, the Art Hero everyone loves, once again is accepting applications for its 2013 Knight Art Challenges (KAC) from everyone who loves art and understands the benefits of sharing it with the public. For years, the Knight Foundation has been awarding millions of dollars to winners of its KAC. The chosen recipients are artists and art organizations who have the imagination to create wonderful ideas that transcend to art lovers and those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to share its beauty through these presentations, which is the main goal the KAC wants to accomplish.

The KAC has made dance lessons possible for special needs students, Everglades-artist-in-residence, cultural passes to Miami-Dade students, free concerts in public parks and much more. The application process is simple. If you are interested in applying, go to their official website to submit your application by March 4th, 2013: KnightArts.org
