Kmart, Walmart, Sears, Best Buy and Target 2009 Black Friday ads

The day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year and the 2009 Sales are out for Kmart, Sears, Target, Best Buy, Walmart and Target. As we get closer to Black Friday the big chain stores, like Kmart, Sears, Target, Best Buy and Walmart begin to release more information on the sale items for Black Friday. Doorbuster items are only offered for the first few hours the store is open, and are extremely limited.

Consumer spending was expected to drop 3.2% over the holidays this year, but now many reports indicate that consumer spending this Christmas will be better than last year. Many retailers want to make the most of getting retailers into their stores for Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year.

Here is a list of confirmed Walmart items on sale Black Friday:

EZ Bake Oven for $16 (was $28)
Guitar Hero, Band Hero and DJ Hero video games packages include a $40 Walmart gift card

Black Friday Store hours:

Walmart will open at 6 am on Thanksgiving and stay open through Black Friday, November 27.

Toys R Us will be open at midnight on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving).

Best Buy will open at 5 am, but will use a ticket policy for those waiting in line outside before that (tickets will be issued within 2 hours of opening, each store will decide what time they will give those tickets out).

Target will open at 5 am on Black Friday.
