Kilian Martin: destroying the boundaries in between freestyle and street skating

If you haven’t checked this guy out yet, the time is now, because this 25-year old from Spain is erasing all (if any) remaining borderlines in between street skate and freestyle.

While a lot of people may say that Kilian Martin reminds of Rodney Mullen, it is still undeniable that this skater has a style of his own.

With a background in gymnastics, Kilian is able to blend an extensive variety of skateboard tricks (both street and freestyle) with mind-bending originality.

His creativity has been featured in TV ads for automobile maker Smart (UK) and Mercedes Benz and paid off in the form of sponsorships (Powell Peralta, Vision Street Wear, Tork Trux and others), enabling him to move to California and also partnering with videographer Brett Novak who has done several short movies revealing Kilian’s amazing bag of tricks: from handstand wheelies double flips to double, varial and 360 finger flips and crossfoot landings out of anything imaginable, the list is virtually endless.
