Summer time is here and kids are constantly looking for fun things to do. We recently tried out Kiwi Crate for a fun arts and crafts project to do with the kids this summer. You can have a lot of fun with the kids with these and it is also a great deal. For only $19.95 you can get a box every single month and it comes with free shipping.
The box that we got in the mail was a farm set. It had two different projects in it. You could make adorable finger puppets that are farm animals and also got the chance to plant a few things. My kids had a great time with it.
We started out the Kiwi Crate project with simply making the little animals. You did not need glue or scissors, but simply peeled off a sticky part on the back to put them together. This made it easy for any age, but my six-year-old had a blast with this one.
The other project that we got the chance to do was planting seeds. It even came with little compartments to put the soil and seeds in for the project. It had the things to plant radishes and grass. It was a bit messy but still fun to do.
They had a lot of fun with it. You need an adult or older sibling to help out with these projects though. It also came with scissors for other projects. I thought that we were done with everything and my youngest daughter has found papers to color, projects to cut with scissors and more in the papers that were in the box. I was shocked by how many little things were in there for the kids to do. Kiwi Crate is great to get a few projects each month.
If you order before June 17th, then you can check out the three summer Kiwi Crate boxes that are all about summer fun including camping and the beach. You can check them out on their website. You can even check out what will be in the summer kits at this link.
