Frosty is one cool cat and a very lucky kitty after being found frozen to a road in northeast OH Monday by Elyria resident Dara Taylor, who thought he was just a chunk of ice until he tried to move.
“He looked as though he had been in water and couldn’t even open his eyes,” she stated during an interview with the Chronicle Telegram.

After freeing him from the pavement Taylor took the male grey kitten to The Friendship Animal Protective League, where is was warmed up and is currently being treated for a respiratory infection. It is hoped he will make a full recovery from his ordeal and be ready to go to a new home very soon. In fact, Frosty has already gotten several offers for adoption according the League’s financial officer Shelley MacDonald.
