The Kitten Action Team(KAT) is a volunteer nonprofit No Kill organization located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Their latest project is outlined in a January 26 Facebook post.

KAT is now accepting applications for the spaying of female cats or kittens whose owners live within the corporate city limits of Simpsonville, SC. Please contact them at 864-724-4186 if you need help with low cost or no cost spaying, based on your circumstances. Just leave a message, and they'll return your call. All information will be kept confidential.

KAT is looking forward to helping their community, and always has one activity or another being held to help upstate cats. To date, they've saved more than 3,100 cats and kittens, vetting them and adopting them into loving forever homes. Another 1,000 cats have been spay/neutered under their KAT's Free Roaming Program.

They also hold adoption events most weekends at the Petsmart on Woodruff Road in Greenville.

The Kitten Action Team receives no government support, operating strictly on the donations of those who believe in their work. It's estimated that 9 out of 10 kittens never find a forever home.

Please share this article with those in Simpsonville who have need of their services. And be sure to catch one of their adoption events if you're looking for a loving feline to add to your home.
