Bremerton, WA---Daniel Scott has officially completed his tour of Puget Sound PDL soccer clubs as today in Silverdale he was introduced as the latest signing by the Kitsap Pumas. The 6-1 defender played for Tacoma Tide FC in 2008 and Seattle Wolves FC last season. While with the Wolves Scott, a Gonzaga grad, was named to the Premier Development All-League team.

Seattle Soccer Examiner spoke with Scott during his 2009 season with the Wolves. See that interview here.

Scott arrived at the press conference via limousine courtesy of hosts Old Town Bistro in Silverdale. About thirty people from local media, club officials and the Kitsap Hellcats Fan Group watched as Scott thanked the club for the opportunity to turn pro.

"I'm fortunate and blessed to be given this opportunity to be a part of the Pumas organization," said Scott in a club press release. "We share many common goals and realize that through hard work and determination these goals can be achieved. To be in a position to pursue a professional soccer career is a blessing."

"We think Daniel will be a real asset to this team and our community," said Pumas owner Robin Waite.

Scott will be the first player ever to have suited up for all three Puget Sound PDL clubs. He played with Tacoma Tide FC's Division Champs in 2008 and with playoff qualifiers Seattle Wolves FC (now called Washington Crossfire) in 2009.

The addition of Scott reinforces the Pumas defense after Taylor Hyde was loaned to Bolivian Club La Paz in recent weeks.
