When you get ready to organize your kitchen cabinets the very last thing you will want to do is buy products. That is usually the first thing people want to do. Take a moment to clean, arrange, purge, and organize what you have so that the planning process of what to buy will be easy.
When going through the contents of the cabinets take note of things like hard to reach spaces and items that have gotten lost in the back of deep shelves. Things like this will help you figure out ways to prevent lost items and hard to reach items. You may also want to re-think the placement of larger platters if space is an issue. Keep a note pad near by and jot down the problems so that solutions can follow.
Often times once people pull everything out and do a little purging they find that they do not need to purchase additional items to make a functional kitchen, and that it was just a matter of creating space. Other times people discover that they could use a few products to create a more functional kitchen. I am a big fan of Rubbermaid because it looks good, it's easy to install, and it's not that expensive. They have wooden units, rubber, and wire.
For most people, and I hope you will agree, the kitchen is a place where we spend quite a bit of time. Creating an organized functional kitchen can make time with family more joyful, help people enable themselves to help themselves (because they can find things), and help you save time and money.
