Gone are the days of the plain stainless steel sink. Now sinks are curved, single, double or triple bowls or under counter mount and much more.
One of the hottest looks is the farmhouse sink. Several companies are manufacturing vintage sinks costing upwards of $4,000. Good news! Many companies make sinks at a more affordable price. Visit the local home improvement stores and go online to see the colors and styles available. Take measurements of the existing sink and opening to be sure that the new sink will work.
Along with a new sink consider a new faucet. Remember the holes drilled in the sink should match the type faucet. Certain sinks can have additional holes drilled but often this can be difficult.
After installation monitor the faucet connections under the counter to insure there are no leaks.
Enjoy the new look.
