Get some books about Italy at the Wilkes Public Library and get maps of the region. Then get some cookbooks that can give you the best recipes from Italy. Then explore a night of Italy . Let your homeschoolers map out the menus for the week or for a special family night meal.

You can explore pizza making or pastas. You can try Tortellini and try varieties of this with diverse sauces. You can explore the language by taking a virtual trip to Italy online as well. Let your kitchen be your classroom. Take the lessons to the kitchen.
