Can't afford tickets to the upcoming KISS / Def Leppard concert, but still want to rock and roll all night? If so, you won't want to miss this show! As a tribute to this summer's biggest concert, Live Nation and the Dallas House of Blues bring you KISS Destroyer, a tribute to KISS and Def Leggend on Saturday, April 12.
To start off the night, Def Leggend is ready to pour a little sugar on you. . . . this band plays hits of Def Leppard, spanning the decades. Some of the songs that you might expect to hear this night are "Too Late For Love", "Rock of Ages", "Photograph", "Let's Get Rocked", and "Pour Some Sugar On Me". Band members are Stacey Toon, lead vocals, Mike Hamill, lead/rhythm guitar, James May, lead/rhythm guitar, Sheldon Conrad, bass guitar, and Michael Feighan on drums.
KISS Destroyer , a tribute to KISS, will take the stage next between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. Get ready for this "Hotter Than Hell" band! These guys put on a realistic version of an authentic KISS concert, complete with flames, flashing lights, and oozing blood. When you see the evil grin on "Gene's" face, stand back if you are squeamish! Members of Destroyer are Robbie, portraying Paul Stanley, Bob as Ace Frehley, Steve as Gene Simmons, and David as Peter Criss.
The House of Blues is located in the White Swan building at 2200 N. Lamar. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
If you would like to score some free tickets to the KISS Destroyer and Def Leggend concert, look for me at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival or any of the clubs in Deep Ellum this weekend. The first five people who mention this article when they see me will each receive a free pair of tickets for the show at the House of Blues on April 12.
