KISS and Def Leppard to rock and roll all night in Atlantic City

Hold onto your rock and get ready to let it roll! According to a press release from Caesars Entertainment on March 18, KISS and Def Leppard, two of the best ever hard rock bands, are joining forces and bringing it to Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk Hall in August. This will be the summer's hottest ticket as KISS celebrates its 40th year in music.

The tour kicks off on Monday, June 23, in West Valley City, Utah at the USANA Amphitheater. It winds its way through 40-plus cities, landing in Atlantic City on Saturday, Aug. 2.

The tour has a very definite purpose. Play the clip above to hear to the guys tell you, "It's for the fans." KISS and Def Leppard are touring to support their dedicated fans in the armed services by partnering with numerous military organizations for the tour. Partnerships will include the USO, Hiring Our Heroes, Project Resiliency/The Raven Drum Foundation, August Warrior Project and the Wounded Warrior Project.

The tour launch was on Monday, March 17 with a live-streamed Q&A session at the Los Angeles House of Blues. Military charities will receive a portion of ticket sales with the money raised being split amongst all the non-profit organizations participating with the summer tour.

With combined album sales of over 200 million, KISS and Def Leppard tickets are going to be in huge demand. Both bands are known for their elaborate stage shows and you can bet that each band will be doing their best to give you the ultimate in summer concert experiences.

All military personnel will be given exclusive access to discounted tickets for the tour with their own pre-sale through Military.com/Monster.com.

KISS is vocalist/bassist Gene Simmons, vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley, lead guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer.

Def Leppard is vocalist Joe Elliott, guitarist Vivian Campbell, guitarist Phil Collen, bassist Rick “Sav” Savage and drummer Rick Allen.
