Kirstie Alley discusses 100-lb. weight loss: 'Nothing positive about being fat'

Kirstie Alley, who recently flaunted her stunning 100-pound weight loss on the runway at New York Fashion Week, opens up about her stunning slimdown, revealing she's happier and feeling more alive than ever.

'I Have So Much Energy'

"When I hit that mark (losing 100 lbs.), I went, 'That's it!' " Alley tells People. "I have more energy than I've ever had in my whole life."

The 5'8" Kirstie, who once topped the scales at 228 pounds, loves the positive outlook being slim and healthy has given her.

"My body had gotten really weak (when I was heavy)," says Alley, 60. "There was nothing positive about being fat."

Alley: I'm a Proud Size 6

Kirstie, whose weight has fluctuated dramatically in recent years, lost over 75 pounds during her 3 years as a Jenny Craig rep from 2005-2008 (she was replaced by Valerie Bertinelli).

Alley then regained the weight and had trouble maintaining a healthy size until she lost 38 inches in 10 weeks (and over 30 pounds) competing on Dancing With the Stars in the spring of 2011.

By dancing up to 2 hours daily and following a portion-controlled, organic diet, Kirstie says she's a proud size 6.

"I feel back to normal," Alley gushes. "I have my game again."

Kirstie, who's set to star in an ABC pilot called The Manzanis, is ready to fall in love again.

"I didn't like the way I looked, and I didn't want to have 'fat sex.' What I'm looking for is to be madly, deeply in love," says Alley, who's divorced from actor Parker Stevenson.

"For the first time in my life, I know exactly what I want in a man. I want someone who has my back, who is courageous and brave."
