Kirsten Storms headed back to 'General Hospital'

Fans of “General Hospital” have been waiting for Kirsten Storms to return from maternity leave for what seems like ages. Her character Maxie Jones is a fan-favorite. Maxie went off to “find herself” after dealing with losing custody and visitation of her daughter. According to a Feb. 24 tweet from Kirsten Storms, she will return to “General Hospital” next week. This means in roughly three to four weeks she will begin airing.

Fans are a little disappointed there weren't more Maxie/Robin scenes before Kimberly McCullough exited again. Robin is Maxie's rock and when she gets back, she will need her. Speculation is that the writers will make Nathan West Maxie's new love interest. Before Maxie left she had an encounter with him and the potential was definitely there.

When Maxie returns to Port Charles she is going to shake things up. Kirsten Storms has been playing Maxie Jones for well over a decade. She is a staple in the “General Hospital” cast and fans will be excited to know she will be returning shortly!
