The fifth Kansas City area Kirkland’s announced a Grand Opening Celebration will be on February 1, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The newest Overland Park home décor specialty store is located in Corbin Park at 6403 West 135th Street, Overland Park, Kansas. The first 50 customers will receive free gifts.

Customers can browse and shop a broad selection of distinctive merchandise at the Overland Park Kirkland’s, including framed art, mirrors, candles, lamps, picture frames, accent rugs, garden accessories and artificial floral products as well as holiday decorations and gift merchandise.

The grand opening events include:

- An appearance by Leawood Interior Designer, Brooke Corcoran from Humble Empire
- Free gift bags with samples and coupons to the first 50 customers
- Free $10 gift cards to the first 50 customers
- Free Espresso, Cappuccino, Mocha and Hot Chocolate for the kids
- Free custom Kirkland’s cake by Spectacular Cakes and refreshments
- Raffle drawing for $50 Gift Cards

The Overland Park Kirkland’s joins more than 330 stores in 35 states. Five stores are in the Kansas City metro area in Olathe, Kansas; Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Independence, Missouri; and Kansas City, Missouri. Kirkland’s was founded in 1966 in Jackson, TN.
